Clarke wrote that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. I work the other way around: I take a system apart until I understand it, measure what it actually does, and build it to keep working when no one is watching. With AI it is no different. A model is a component, not an oracle: I test where it fails and keep the decisions it should not make in plain code.
